Editorial policy
Trusted County Report aims to make county geography and heritage understandable without making the evidence sound more certain than it is. We distinguish explanation from interpretation and revise material when a meaningful error is brought to our attention.
Accuracy and context
We check factual statements against appropriate sources before publication and aim to give readers enough context to understand what a map, name or record can establish. Where an interpretation is uncertain or evidence is incomplete, we say so rather than presenting a possibility as settled fact.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not in exchange for favourable coverage. A partnership does not determine our conclusions, and we do not present promotional claims as independent editorial judgment.
Corrections
If you spot an error, contact us through the Contact page and identify the page and point at issue. We assess the information and, when a correction is warranted, update the text in a proportionate way so readers can understand the change.
Partner material and illustrations
Sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial content. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when used, they are identified as such and are not offered as documentary evidence.
